Snap, Crackle, Pop!

Recently, a particularly tough training day left our bodies the cracking and popping audibly (and somewhat disconcertingly) throughout the following day.  It was then and only then that we finally decided to read up on the subject.

Lucky for us, Steven Low over at Eat.Move.Improve has us covered with a fine article devoted specifically to the topic: “Cracking and Popping and Clicking — Oh My!

Turns out that a little cavitation is perfectly normal, and probably just indicates that we did a good job of opening up those joints and creating some flexibility in our range of motion.
