TRX Overhead Squats

Jason Peck at Elite Fitness Systems just posted these coaching points on the performance of TRX overhead squats.  Some might say it’s easier and better just to go with “real” overhead squats (with some weight overhead), but these actually are a little more wicked than they look.  They require a different kind of tension and balance than your traditional OHS and serve as a nice assistance exercise.  If you have a TRX or other suspension system available, give these a try and send your body a new stimulus.

It took him 8 mins 20 seconds to actually demonstrate the movement…haha. Similar to a smith squat except puts the strain on your rotators.
