Regular Dose of Olympic Lifting

Today the work week starts anew, and we get back to the fundamentals of power development.

In this installment we’re going to practice our Olympic lifting, starting with the power snatch, and then working into a hardcore strength and skill transfer exercise – the overhead squat.

Here’s the drill:  you’ll do 20 rounds, with each round consisting of 1 power snatch (ground to overhead) followed immediately by 3 overhead squats.

Your goal should be to increase in weight as you go.  Try to add some weight every 2 or 3 rounds, or every single round if you can!
